In tutto il territorio della Judicaria sono decine e decine i musei e le esposizioni permanenti dedicate ai più vari aspetti della nostra storia, della nostra tradizione, dei nostri usi e costumi. La ricchezza e l’estrema varietà dei musei (grandi e piccoli) presenti nella nostra zona rappresentano nel loro insieme i luoghi nei quali, sia in modo strutturato, sia in maniera informale, vengono conservati e protetti tutta una serie di documenti e fonti storiche locali e non: anche i musei locali, pur piccoli e monotematici, mostrano uno spettacolare assortimento di “oggetti” da conoscere.
Nel solco della propria filosofia il Centro Studi Judicaria ritiene, attraverso diversi canali, di favorire la conoscenza e la valorizzazione di tale patrimonio, aggiungendo in tal senso un tassello alla conoscenza del proprio territorio e di quelli adiacenti. Si ritiene infatti che l’educazione al patrimonio sia doverosamente rivolta ai futuri cittadini e che abbia come finalità la conoscenza della propria storia ed eredità culturale, lo sviluppo di comportamenti positivi nel rapporto individuo – bene pubblico, per la costruzione della memoria di sé e della collettività.
Per questo il Centro Studi Judicaria da qualche anno si è mosso e si muove in diverse direzioni, con progetti dedicati:
- Mappatura e schedatura dei musei della Judicaria: da diverso tempo il Centro Studi Judicaria si occupa del censimento, mappatura e schedatura dei musei, etnomusei, esposizioni permanenti e collezioni importanti dal punto di vista culturale presenti nella Judicaria. Questo sia per avere il polso sulla consistenza delle raccolte di fonti locali con le quali stabilire contatti ed eventuali partnership, sia per l’avvio di progetti culturali di varia natura che possano migliorarne la conoscenza e la visibilità e favorirne la fruizione da parte della popolazione.
- A scuola con il museo: un progetto didattico, inserito da qualche anno nelle proposte laboratoriali per le scuole primarie, incentrato sulla didattica museale. A questo scopo si presentano alle classi particolari musei della propria valle a cui poi segue una visita in loco con un percorso incentrato sull’utilizzo e l’analisi delle fonti qui conservate. Un laboratorio pratico, nel quale gli alunni impareranno non solo a conoscere meglio il proprio territorio, ma anche a riflettere sul significato di “patrimonio culturale” e sulla missione dei musei.
- I musei della Judicaria: un ciclo di documentari realizzati dal Centro Studi Judicaria dedicati ai musei presenti sul territorio della Judicaria. In questi video, raccolti anche nel nostro canale Youtube, vengono presentate la storia, la genesi e le raccolte più significative di questi preziosi “scrigni” di storia locale. Il tutto attraverso interviste ai fondatori e agli operatori che con grande impegno tengono vive e valorizzano queste collezioni.
Throughout the territory of the Judicaria there are dozens and dozens of museums and permanent exhibitions dedicated to the most varied aspects of our history, our tradition, our customs and traditions. The richness and the extreme variety of museums (large and small) in our area represent, as a whole, the places in which, both in a structured and informal way, a series of documents and local and non-local historical sources are preserved and protected: Even the local museums, although small and monothematic, show a spectacular assortment of “objects” to know.
Following its own philosophy, the Judicaria Study Centre believes, through various channels, to encourage the knowledge and enhancement of this heritage, thus adding a piece to the knowledge of its territory and those adjacent. It is believed that heritage education is dutifully addressed to future citizens and that it has as its purpose the knowledge of its history and cultural heritage, the development of positive behaviors in the relationship individual – public good, for the construction of the memory of self and community.
This is why the Judicaria Study Centre has been moving in different directions for some years, with dedicated projects:
- Mapping and filing of the museums of the Judicaria: for some time the Judicaria Study Centre has been dealing with the census, mapping and filing of museums, ethno-Omusei, permanent exhibitions and important collections from the cultural point of view present in the Judicaria. This is to have the pulse on the consistency of the collections of local sources with which to establish contacts and possible partnerships, both for the launch of cultural projects of various kinds that can improve the knowledge and visibility and facilitate the use by the population.
- At school with the museum: an educational project, inserted for some years in the laboratory proposals for primary schools, focused on museum teaching. For this purpose they present themselves to the particular museum classes of their valley followed by a visit on site with a path focused on the use and analysis of the sources here preserved. A practical workshop, in which students will learn not only to know their territory better, but also to reflect on the meaning of “cultural heritage” and the mission of museums.
- The Judicaria Museums: a series of documentaries made by the Judicaria Study Centre dedicated to the museums in the Judicaria area. In these videos, collected also in our Youtube channel, the history, the genesis and the most significant collections of these precious “caskets” of local history are presented. All through interviews with the founders and operators who with great commitment keep alive and enhance these collections.
